Hello, my name is Fermin Cruz. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington as an acute care nurse practitioner. My background is in cardiothoracic surgery and pulmonary transplant. After working for so many years with very sick people, I decided to switch to primary care. I want to help patients manage their chronic illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, and help prevent complications that require cardiac surgery.

I am new to the Palestine area. I want to get to know my patients and my new community. I am originally from Honduras, and I'm fluent in Spanish. I enjoy trips to the lake with my dogs, long walks, and video games in my free time.
